The LMC Team

LMC was founded in 1999 by bringing together a number of long time highly diverse telecommunications experts, with the intent of building a Management Partnering and Consultancy business, teaming primarily with Venture Capital Funds, institutional investors and telecommunication operators, that would develop state of the art broadband and telecom operations within the Americas, Europe, the CIS countries and Asia. The founding partners of LMC are Peter Kahelin, a long time veteran in leading highly successful US and international cable TV, telephony & broadband operations and Bruce Fogelstrom, a driven telecommunications and broadband executive who specializes in the back-office development of the business, supporting all operating and development needs. Kahelin and Fogelstrom along with Stuart Roberts, John Edwards and Richard Zorin, three seasoned executives with broad international experience of operating successful cable and telecoms businesses across the globe, lead the LMC group of telecommunications experts operating throughout the Americas, Europe, the CIS countries and Asia.

The LMC partners and personnel have long successful histories in the telecommunications industry worldwide. Most of the LMC Team started their careers and gained much of their industry experience first with major Western telecommunication firms in the United States or United Kingdom and then in many of the Emerging Market Countries. A LMC staff person has at least 12 to 35 years of industry experience. Most recently, LMC has added to its team of professionals a number of the top foreign national broadband experts that have come out of the field in the past fifteen to twenty years within Central, Eastern Europe and Asia, thus complementing our Americas-Western European team nicely. More importantly, all LMC personnel have worked together in developing and leading successful telecommunication businesses over the years, even before the creation of LMC, thus ensuring our business partners and consulting clients strategic depth, consistency in performance and success through Team experience.
